Plot: Tuck Everlasting is a story about a girl named Winnie Foster, who makes friends with a 17 year old boy named Tuck. She--and the man in the yellow jacket learn the secret of the Tucks past--that they have been alive for more than 100 years. They cannot die. Tucks family mistakenly drank from the spring and became immortal. Winnie strives to keep their secret, while the man in the yellow suit tries to expose their secret.
Theme: This short book is wonderful as it explores the idea of immortality.
Review: The charcters are similar to the characters in the Twilight series. Jessi is like Edward, in which he is a 17 year boy who have lived for over 100 years. Edward is a vampire, and vampires live forever, Jessi drank from the spring, which is a type of fountian of youth. Both Jessi and Edward fall in love with a girl. The only difference between Bella and Winnie, is that Bella chooses to be a vampire, whilst Winnie chooses to live a normal life.
