Plot: A series of stories involving three best friends: Lisa, Stevie, and Carole and their adventures in the saddle club--which is a horse riding club. Each girl learns about life and love. In the first movie, Lisa has a crush on an actor,Sky Ransom, who comes to Pine Hollow to shoot a film. All three friends work together to train him how to ride, because he must jump over the log for a scene. In another segment, Max, the riding coach, falls in love with a journalist. The three girls try to get them together, break them up, and finally get them back together. The final story has a ghost theme, about a horse named Belle, who is cursed. Stevie befriends the horse and keeps the horse until the owner wants it back. Stevie learns about loss, but regains the horse again, when the owner can no longer tame the horse.
Reveiw: This movie represents tween life, and tween issues about justice, love, and life. These girls are independent and at most times they take matters into their own hands, such as breaking up their coach and his girlfriend because they heard the wrong information. These tweens are also good-dooers, who believe they can make a difference in the world. Some times they make the wrong decisions, which gets them into trouble. However, they learn from their mistakes, and remain best of friends. This movie is based on the best-selling book series, but it is the epitome of what tween means. There are girl-boy crushes, that are just developing and a friend is always there to help other friends in need. These are positive stories, with valuable lessons learned. Each story runs 30 minutes on DVD.
